OPT Laser Profile 3D Cameras
A line-laser 3D camera family for high-speed profile scanning, with LPE2, LPF2, and LPH2 series covering 7 mm to 2600 mm scan widths, up to 6400 X-axis profile points, and up to 54 kHz sampling.

The laser profile camera family targets motion-assisted 3D measurement and inspection. The deck groups the line into LPE2, LPF2, and LPH2 series, with 21 model options, scan widths from 7 mm to 2600 mm, X-axis profile density up to 6400 points, and sampling up to 54 kHz.

Principle
The system follows laser triangulation. A cylindrical lens spreads the laser into a line on the target surface; reflected light is imaged by CMOS; the displacement and shape of the stripe are converted into profile height. The camera then outputs depth, point cloud, and intensity data for downstream measurement.

Product strengths
The series emphasizes robust profile extraction, high frame rate, dense X-axis sampling, integrated operation without an external controller, and software pairing with Smart3. The source deck highlights HDR fusion, vibration correction, stray-light suppression, peak sensitivity tuning, preprocessing, height correction, and profile post-processing.

Algorithms
The line-laser workflow combines subpixel center extraction, HDR fusion, noise filtering, peak sensitivity adjustment, vibration correction, and point-cloud post-processing. These are especially important for dark plastic, reflective metal, glue surfaces, and narrow weld structures where stripe returns are unstable.

Applications
Representative applications include battery weld dimension inspection, transparent glue volume calibration, dispensing path guidance, 3D defect inspection, step-height measurement, gap-width measurement, and full-coverage multi-camera inspection.
